One Year Well Check

Ella went to the doctor today for her one year well check. My little precious now finally weighs over 20 pounds. That is 20 pounds 8 oz to be exact. And she is 33" long. What a tall little girl she is. Dr. Mark asked me if I had any concerns. I said, " Yes! She climbs things, laughs when I tell her no, and throws her food, plate, and cup when she is done eating." His response was, "Sounds like she is ahead of schedule". All joking aside though, she is doing great. I have to take her to have a lead level test done. It used to be only for kids that lived in older homes, but I guess now everyone needs them. I just wish they did it there. And we need to go back to the specialist about her blocked tear duct. I am still putting off that surgery. I just feel so strongly that it will open. And I don't want to put her under if I don't have to. So we will see how long I can get away with delaying it. Hopefully long enough for it to open on its own. I just need to get her one year photos done and we will be all set.

Mother's Day

Today is Mother's Day. A hallmark holiday that never goes the way you hope, but as a mom it is the day that I really sit back and think about my kids. I always wanted to be a mom and when I look at Juliana and Ella I am amazed. What a blessing they are.

It's Fun to be One!

Ella Grace turned one today. I can't believe a whole year has gone by. She has grown so much. It's hard to belive that about this time last year I was holding her in my arms for the first time. Now she is walking, talking, and turning into an incredible little girl. I can't imagine my life without her. My parents came over for dinner tonight and we gave her a piece of her leftover cake. She threw it on the floor. I guess Ella isn't a big cake fan. Happy Birthday Ella Grace!

Happy Birthday Eric

Today was Eric's birthday. The girls and I took him to California Pizza Kitchen. He had a nice birthday. After dinner we walked the mall and Daddy and Juliana rode the Merry Go Round together. Happy 29th Birthday Eric!

Princesses on Ice

I took Juliana on a girls day out to see Disney's Princess Wishes on Ice. We went with Jenni and Jorja and had a blast. The girls were so cute. They got dressed up and were just in awe of the whole show. Juliana was a bit reluctant over the dress, but she got over it.

Birthday Party

Today was Ella's birthday party. I can't belive my baby is turning one. She had a great time diving into her cake and spending it with friens and family. I am so thankful to everyone who came out to be a part of this special day.
