Pupmkin Girls

You know, I always try to find these cute outfits for the girls for holidays. I recently just bought a dress off eBay for Juliana, not for the dress, but the tights that go with them. As a matter of fact, the dress is 2 sizes too big, but I really needed the tights to go with one of her Christmas dresses. My friend Jenni tells me there are support groups for people like me! LOL! But anyway, I dress the girls up in hopes to get the perfect picture- and you just never know what they are going to do when you pull that camera out. So here are my two little divas in one of their pumpkin outfits. And yes, Juliana did her accessorizing herself.

Daddy's Girl

Juliana and her daddy were snuggling in bed the other night. I snapped this picture and thought it as so sweet that I had to share.

Plumply Dumply Pumpkins

We took the kids to Hunsader Farms for their pumpkin Festival. It was really neat. The first year we have ever done this, but sure to make it a family tradition. They had all sorts of fun things to do. The girls got to feed goats, go on a train ride, and Juliana even rode a pony. I must say that my entire reason for going was to get some unbelievably cute pictures of the girls in the pumpkin patch. But, the girls had other plans and decided that pictures were not important. I did manage to get one of each of them. Juliana on the train ride was so cute, she just waved away and had this awesome grin on her face. I am thinking if Eric could turn a lawn mower into a train we would be all set. It was a great way to get in fall mode - and it just happened that our first of cooler weather fell on the same day which just made the day even more perfect.

Yesterday we had a baby dedication at church and had Ella dedicated. It seems like so long ago that we had Juliana's dedication. It's amazing to look at these 2 beautiful girls and think about the fact that so many doctors told me they would never exist. They are truly miracles and such a blessing from God. I think about how 2 years ago I was pregnant with Ella and thinking that the baby she was in my womb was a cruel joke. I was certain I would lose her like the 2 babies I had lost before her. And I was angry that God would allow my body to conceive another child so I could go through more pain, wasn't I suffering enough. I clearly told him I was done trying why did he allow this. I had one child and for that I was so grateful. But God wasn't playing a cruel joke. Ella Grace was born into this world and all though the pregnancy wasn't exactly smooth sailing towards the end, God had given her to us to raise up. That gift is one that I pray I will never take lightly. All though I know that there will be times I will fall short and fail miserably, I know that I will spend the rest of my life trying to be the mother that God desires for me to be.
