Christmas with Mimi and Papa

In the evening we went to my parents house for Christmas where the girls got even more stuff! It was fun!


Ella is getting help from Mimi as she is obviously lost in her stash of presents.



Lets hope she doesn't color on any more of Mimi's furniture with that stuff.

Gingerbread Houses

It wouldn't be Christmas if we didn't have a gingerbread house. So the girls went to town.

The Beloved Disney World at Christmas Time

I adore Disney during Christmas. We go every year and we love it. The castle is always lit up, the park is decorated and the cooler air makes it so much more bearable to stand in lines. This year, we met two of my friends there. It was great to be able to go with them. But of course as life would have it, the kids came down with a horrible cold the day before. So we shortened the trip and added some cold meds to the bags. Because Juliana is in school now, we waited until winter break to go. That was a big mistake as the park was overly crowded. But again, we still had fun.

Pre-k Christmas Party

Juliana had her school Christmas party today. They sang a few songs, and gave the parents special gifts they made for us. It was so cute!

Christmas Portraits

I finally sat down to take the princesses Christmas portraits. They weren't so cooperative so in just about every frame they are saying "Happy Meal". Yes, I stooped to the bribery level and promised them a Happy Meal, it's okay, I will own my parenting flaws. They were both equally annoyed at me for making them get dressed up and then saying just one more oh about 2 dozen times. LOL! These are my personal favorites.

And the Elf is... Here.

Okay, I know that you are curious as to where Charlie will sit every night. LOL! Last night he left and arrived home landing in the tree.

Elf Sighting

The princesses spent the night with Mimi and Papa, and you won't believe it... Charlie the Elf was there and sitting in the kitchen when they all woke up.

That Sneaky Elf

When we woke up this morning, Juliana searched and searched for Charlie. His box was empty under the tree. We finally spotted him. Juliana said he is one tricky elf.



The girls giggled with delight as they realized that Charlie the Elf really was full of Christmas Magic. There he sits on top of the curtain rod. Can't wait to see where else he chooses to sit.

A Special Gift from Santa

When we got home from visiting Santa the princesses had a present under the tree from Santa.




The princesses excitedly opened their present and quickly revealed a box.



Santa gave them their very own Elf. They quickly named him Charlie the Elf.



We left Charlie the Elf under the tree in his box. Santa says he is magic and we can not touch him as his magic will disappear if we do. Every night after we are all asleep, Charlie flies to Santa at the North Pole and tells him if Juliana and Ella have been naughty or nice. Then he comes back before we awake and finds a new spot to sit in and watch them the next day. We are so curious to see where Charlie the Elf will be in the morning.

Trip to see Santa

We took the princesses to see Santa tonight. They were excited. You can't really tell how excited they are in this picture though. LOL! Sorry this is such a bad image. I took a picture of a picture since our scanner died.

Ella's First Haircut

I took Ella up to Tina today to get her very first haircut. She was a trooper and did an excellent job.

Brown Day

It was brown day at school today and Juliana chose this outfit to wear. The fur lined boots were awesome for a day in the 80's. She is super cute though!

Trick or Treat

We spent Halloween up in Georgia with some friends. Ella was super tired from Halloween and eventually fell asleep. But the girls had a blast!

Hiking at the Anna Ruby Falls

While visiting our friends in Georgia we went Hiking.The girls had so much fun. Ella was amused with all the leaves and made herself some leaf antlers. Juliana loved the cooler weather and climbing on the rocks in the cool weather.
