A Royal Career

I opened the mail this afternoon and had a letter from Juliana's preschool. They have been learning all about community helpers. Many of the parents have volunteered their time to speak and teach the kids all about their jobs. I am guessing they must have asked Juliana what community helper she wanted to be, because this is what we got in the mail.

Pretend Birthday

At Juliana's school, they allow you to pick a day and celebrate your child's birthday if they have a summer birthday. This allows them to still have their special day with their friends. Juliana was all excited about pretending it was her birthday. She asked Eric and I to bring in pizza, juice, and cookies to her class for all her friends so we did. They even sang happy birthday to her.

The best part was she kept pretending she was a different age. She is so fun! And even better, we had our first family picture in almost 2 years. Yeah, you read that right. This is the first picture of all 4 of us together in a long time. Ridiculous! The kids look dazed and confused, but we now have a picture.

Here is the family picture with the pretend birthday girl:

Juliana Gets Mail

Juliana was super excited to come home today and find mail for her. She was so cute opening up her special mail from Georgia. Her friend Jorja made her a beautiful picture.

It was picture day today at Juliana's school. The princesses were dressed for the occasion.

Valentines Day Dresses

I had a hard time deciding on dresses for the girls for valentines day, but then I found this awesome fabric on sale at Joann's. I couldn't decide on a pattern, so I combined a couple patterns and then winged the rest. I am actually very happy with how they turned out. I ordered these hats to go with them. The entire look for both dresses and the hats cost me about $20. I was super excited!
